Design of technical measures in LV distribution network with a high value of short-circuit currents
Šmehlík, Daniel ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses the sizing and the possibility of reducing large short circuit ratios. For a specific scheme of an industrial building, which will be fed from three transformers, the sizing will be done by means of the SICHR program. The specific objective of the technical solution is to be able to use modular circuit breakers with a ripping capability of short-circuit currents up to 10 kA in the terminal switchboards. Another objective of the work is to perform an economic evaluation of the proposed solution, or to optimize the design from the point of view of the economic aspect in meeting the technical requirements.
Proposal of the reconstruction of a distribution network in a specific area
Richter, Miroslav ; Mrvová, Dana (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
The dissertation describes several types of low and high voltage distribution networks including their implementation in specified location with regards to the reliability and quality of electric power supply. The distributions networks are classified according to ways of cable routing, distribution line voltage levels as well as according to types of network interconnections. The high and low voltage distribution networks are further categorized based on used cable types, where, more attention is paid to insulated lines used in the Czech Republic, low voltage lines called „AES“ and „PAS“ high voltage lines used more and more during the distribution network reconstruction. Attention is also given to the description of used methodology for the calculation of network performance stability. An individual part of the dissertation is devoted to a low voltage distribution network proposal in the village of Kovalovice. Based on performed analysis of distribution network conditions, several reconstruction versions were proposed with the help of „KASI“ software, the description of which is also included. The proposed versions are further analysed for both, technical and economical aspects and is selected most suitable version of the distribution network.

Fojtík, Martin ; Beneš, Jan (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with the problem of distribution electrical network with a focus on solving the steady operation of the electrical distribution network for E.ON Brno - Lisen. The calculation is made by using BIZON PAS Off-Line. The first part of thesis is specialized on the distribution of individual LV and MV networks. The second part of thesis is specialized on the general calculation of the steady operation distribution network and describe criteria for the design and evaluation of this network. In the practical part is calculate existing network in selected area in which is located 53 distribution transformers. In the final part is evaluate the status of existing network and perform design optimization and assessment of this network.
Documentation for construction of new distribution transformer station and cables line HV a LV
Matouš, Milan ; Orságová, Jaroslava (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The following master thesis is devoted to the design of distribution systems of LV (Low Voltage) and HV (High Voltage) voltage levels. The aim of the thesis is to create a complete project documentation for the construction of a new distribution transformer station (22kV/0.4kV) situated directly in the city of Blansko along with a transformer capable of performance of up to 630kVA. Subsequently a design of cable routes of LV and HV is included in the project documentation. The first part of the thesis introduces the fundamental issues and solutions regarding the design of electrical equipment related to the LV and HV voltage levels. Thereafter it deals with proper legislation, technical regulations and related standards. The second part is dealing with project documentation. More precisely analyzing each step in the process and thoroughly going through individual parts of the project documentation. Other focus of the thesis is software resources and tools which are essential for drawing documentation. Then follows a selection of appropriate electrical equipment and budget evaluation. The major portion of the work is a design of distribution transformer station and cable lines of LV and HV. Including dimensioning of the LV and HV switchboards, earthing system and fuse protection system. The essence of all this work serves as a foundation for complete design documentation.
Design of Protection Relays for MV Distribution Grid
Sochor, Tomáš ; Bukvišová, Zuzana (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
The master´s thesis deals with the design of medium voltage power line protection and the calculation of reliability indicators. First, it deals with the possibilities of power system operation. Subsequently, it divides the networks according to the grounding of the transformer node and the switching elements and devices occurring in the MV distribution network are mentioned. It presents the basic classification of power line protection and its use, especially it focuses on overhead and cable MV power lines. It also discusses the reliability of the power supply and lists the basic reliability indicators and their possible calculation. The practical part describes the changes in the considered area of the distribution network, where the reconstruction of the power line VN872 and a new way of powering the village Drnholec will take place. The impact of this change on the reliability of the supplied energy is also calculated. Furthermore, the protection of the power line is designed and the correctness of its setting is then verified on the model in the PSS Sincal software.
Design of the expansion of 22kV distribution network in a specific area
Řehoř, Jiří ; Beneš, Jan (referee) ; Blažek, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this work is the reconstruction and development of the distribution network of DS to ensure electricity supply in the required quality to existing customers and new customers connecting to the planned industrial zone Šlapanice. The first part deals with the inclusion of a distribution network in power system, its distribution and composition. Subsequently, the work deals with the description of the management of distribution networks, cable and outdoor leadership and their parameters. It also contains guidelines for the design of high voltage networks. The end of the first part is devoted to calculating the steady operation of the network. In the second part, the proposed project using the PAS DAISY Off-line v 4.00 Bizon. Based on the available evidence is developed steady state operation. We found that lines are overloaded and need to be strengthened with regard to the development of industrial zones and adjusting the network to ensure safe and reliable operation. The conclusion focuses on the economic evaluation of proposed alternatives.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare freely available software for calculating the parameters of electrical networks. The first part is used to give an idea how to operate in the programs Sichr, DOC, Spider (xSpider) and ~ SIMARIS design and their evaluation in terms of usability, requirements, graphical interface and controllability. Furthermore, a technical analysis of specific topologies of specified distribution networks is performed in the work. In the second part, the calculation of network parameters was performed using the SW above. Finally, the realized calculations of voltage drops and short-circuit currents using individual programs were compared with each one another.
